Welcome to our Inn!

We’re glad you are here and we are looking forward to your time with us! I’m Oliver (a Yorkshire Terrier), and my sidekick Toby (he’s a Pomeranian). We’re the Gaslight Inn’s very own directors of hospitality. Our friend, Gideon (a Shih Tzu), is known as the unofficial cuddler in chief. Even though we’re all a little different, we agree on one thing – and that’s that we have the best job in the world because we get to see new people every day, and new people just love to give us their attention!
Toby of the Gaslight Inn
Our owners, Mike and Becky, came to own The Gaslight Inn nine years ago after owning a smaller bed and breakfast on Cape Cod. They were looking for a new place to really fall in love with and Gettysburg’s unique charm and friendly character were a great fit. When Mike and Becky found Gettysburg and The Gaslight Inn, we all agreed they had found the right place for us to call home.

Take it from me, running an inn is a big job, so every once in a while we let them take some time for themselves. When they’re not here, I’ve heard Elizabeth say that Mike can be found out on the golf course and Becky’s gone to buy some new plants and flowers to make our garden even prettier. All I know is that we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else because we love learning about the people who come to visit and hearing interesting stories about what life is like where they are from. And you know what’s really great? Sometimes, we let people who are missing their furry friends sit with us on the porch and even give us belly rubs. Isn’t life grand?

We hope you’ll come for a visit and let us make you feel at home here. All of us are looking forward to meeting you and would like nothing more than to see you again and again, so that in the future we can consider you our good friends.

Sending you wags and wiggles,

Oliver, Toby, and Gideon
