The Owners/Innkeepers

Meet Michael and Jennifer Gilday!

Michael and Jennifer have taken over operation of The Gaslight Inn as of June 1, 2018. We welcome you to experience a peaceful getaway with a scrumptious breakfast in America’s most famous small town.

The Gildays relocated from the Albany/Saratoga region of upstate New York where they enjoyed their historic farmhouse and entertaining family and friends. During numerous visits to Gettysburg, we had stayed as guests at The Gaslight Inn and, as many do, fell in love with the accommodations and location.

Michael was working in the manufacturing industry but his passion for history and enjoyment of interacting with people has led him to Gettysburg to become co-owner and primary Innkeeper. Michael is a US Marine Veteran and enjoys volunteering and being active in his community. Michael refined his culinary skills and provides tasty breakfast options, to uphold the expectations of new and returning guests.

Jennifer holds a Business Economics degree and has worked in corporate America for over 20 years. Jennifer’s love for historic towns and her entrepreneurial spirit has led her to become co-owner and primary business manager for the Inn. Jennifer also loves to bake and socialize.

As owner/Innkeepers, we strive to be courteous, welcoming and accommodating while providing remarkable service to all our guests. Please join us at The Gaslight Inn; we would love to share our Inn with you.
