1:00 Lunch - Sammy's Authentic Italian Restaurant - The brightly painted blue and gold exterior of Sammy's Authentic Italian Restaurant makes it easy to find, not to mention the fact that this eatery is smack at the foot of the Capitol building. The menu features a lunchtime sandwich board that lists the daily specials and notes that the restaurant is BYOB. Folks flock to Sammy's for an authentic bargain meal. The place is small, intimate and casual, serving whopping portions of un-fussy food. Ask for a table in the main dining room instead of the basement and watch your choices be prepared.

It's Caribbean theme includes large fish tanks filled with technicolor marine life and a colorful sign that beckons the passersby.

Find your way to Intercourse, PA and park your car. Walk the streets of this quaint Pennsylvania-Dutch village, visiting such places as: The P. Buckley Moss Gallery, The Intercourse Pretzel Factory, Kitchen Kettle Village (over 32 shops) and The People's Place Quilt Museum.

Break for lunch in Intercourse or continue your drive down Old Philadelphia Pike to Bird-in-hand where more authentic Amish cooking can be found.

Spend the afternoon exploring the history and lifestyle of the Amish people at the Americana Museum of Bird-in-Hand and the Weaverton One-room Schoolhouse. Or you may choose to take a Buggy-ride through the countryside followed by a visit to the Amish Country Homestead. At the homestead you can tour the farm and then climb aboard their van for the "Ghosts & Underground Railroad" tour.
